Kiowa is located on the scenic route to the Rockies along Highway 86. The Town receives travelers from the east and west on Highway 86, North on the Kiowa-Bennett Road from I-70, and South on the Elbert Road from Highway 24.
Some of the services offered are restaurants, banking facilities, gas stations, large and small animal veterinarians, abstract or title office, auto repair, accounting services, animal feed and supplies, storage area, beauty parlors, car wash, real estate offices, insurance, and a host of cottage industries. This is one of the places where horse properties and ranches abound in metro Denver.
